Properties
Actosed® Enzym, is a concentrated product with 4 enzymes and disinfection power combination. The enzyme complex offers high performance to remove organic impurities such as blood, protein, mucus, fat and feces.
In addition to the cleaning effect, Actosed® Enzym can be used for bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal (such as HBV, HIV, HCV) action before sterilization or high-level disinfection. It is suitable for daily use in medical applications.
Actosed® Enzym can be used manually and with ultrasonic washing machines for cleaning and disinfection of flexible and rigid endoscopes, surgical instruments made of stainless steel, including Minimally Invasive Surgical (MIS) instruments, anesthesia materials and heat-resistant and non- heat-resistant medical instruments.
Chemical composition
100 g contains: 12 g Didesylmethylpoly (oxyethyl)-ammonium propionate, 9.9 g N, N-Bis (3-aminopropyl) dodecylamine, 0.8 g Enzyme (Amylase, protease, lipase, cellulase), nonionic surfactant, corrosion inhibitors and excipients.
Material Compatibility
Actosed® Enzym is suitable for medical devices made of glass, ceramic, stainless steel, aluminum, hard rubber as well as hard plastic, rubber (including latex and silicone) and synthetic materials (including polyacrylate and polycarbonate). Material compatibility of Actosed® Enzym has been tested and approved by KARL STORZ.
Method of Use:
Use a dosing pump to prepare the solution. Fill the instrument bath with water (30 – 35°C). The recommended concentration of use and contact time are between 0.5% and 1.5%, depending on the degree of dirtiness, for a maximum of 15 minutes. Add Actosed® Enzym to the bath in the appropriate ratio, mix the product. Make sure that all instruments and canals come into contact with the solution during application. Keep the lid of the bath closed. Wait for the action time. Remove all instruments from the solution and rinse with water of at least drinking quality, and dry them. You can use either Acto® Oil Spray SF or Actoton® M for maintenance of the instruments.
